With approximately 42,000 members nationally, the AOTA was established in 1917 to represent the interests and concerns of occupational therapists and improve the quality of service in the field. AOTA’s also exists to educate the public and serve as an advocate to improve health care.
Illinois Occupational Therapy Association
ILOTA is the official representative organization for occupational therapists in the state of Illinois. They serve to advance the field and educate practitioners and the public, and facilitate a network of professionals who support the field in the state.

STAR Institute for Sensory Processing Disorder

Zero to Three – National Center for Infants, Toddlers, and Families
Zero to Three is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of infants and toddlers. This site also contains a “school readiness” online tool for parents.
